"Wolverine: Paradise" from Dan Panosian. Armenian-American artist Dan Panosian (Conan the Barbarian for Titan Comics and numerous Marvel covers) will write and illustrate a Wolverine series. The key difference between Paradise and other Logan stories will be its location: the hero will move from the seedy bars of the northern United States to Miami. In the new city, the Canadian will encounter yet another supervillain, who controls local gangs in the spirit of the Florida Kingpin. Dazzler has been announced as Logan's sidekick and temporary companion, helping him settle into his new paradise. The "Wolverine: Paradise" miniseries will consist of five issues. The first will be released on October 14th.

The X-Men face off against the Aliens in a new Marvel story. The Aliens have already clashed with the Avengers, and now it's the X-Men's turn—the Alien vs. X-Men crossover has been announced. In this story, the X-Men will travel into space in search of the Phoenix Egg, encounter xenomorphs, and be forced to fight for their lives. The four-issue limited series, Alien vs. X-Men, will begin publishing on September 16, 2026.

Dark Horse Comics will reissue the iconic storyline about how Wolverine got his famous adamantium claws. Weapon X, a 1991 comic book, is considered one of the greatest and most influential Wolverine stories. It was in this story that readers were shown how Logan got his adamantium bones and claws. Now, Dark Horse Comics has the opportunity to present a new line of archival editions of iconic stories. Much of the story unfolds not from Logan's point of view, but from the eyes of the scientists who conducted the experiment on him. The story is structured like a slasher or horror film: these "researchers" become the target of an unstoppable and highly dangerous creature they themselves created. Other features include a black-and-white color palette and extensive artist commentary on the comic's creation. It originally ran in Marvel Comics Presents from #72 to #84 over 12 issues. The Absolute DC Universe introduced Batgirl—she's replacing Batman. As part of the Absolute Batman #24 reveal, this version of Barbara Gordon was revealed. She's sort of like the Ultimate Batgirl, but with a different codename. Because Barbara Gordon is the Batman of Absolute Batman. In the upcoming issue, this story reaches its climax. The writers wanted to show that the heroine "kind of grew up under the influence of her father and working for the Gotham City Police Department," and therefore sees flaws everywhere.

Deadpool vs. Punisher. The publisher is warming up fans with new anniversary stories. Marvel will release the "Big Guns" crossover, a storyline in which the two brutal antiheroes once again clash in an unequal battle. The crossover will span four issues: September's Wade Wilson: Deadpool #8 and Punisher #8, and October's Wade Wilson: Deadpool #9 and Punisher #9. Deadpool receives a contract to kill Frank Castle. The Punisher, however, isn't about to give up and engages the degenerate regenerate in battle. Naturally, both heroes and the circumstances of their encounter are being manipulated by a mysterious new villain.

Even Armageddon won't destroy the Avengers. The Marvel Comics universe will be shaken up this summer with the Avengers: Armageddon event. As usual, they promise that things will change dramatically. And not everyone will emerge alive. What's more, a young Doctor Doom from an alternate dimension will be featured. The first issue was released just recently on June 3rd, and they're already teasing what's to come. The new Avengers volume promises a major vengeance from those who survived.

DC unveiled a new, demonic look for Batman. In the final issue of Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham, the Dark Knight reveals one of his finest looks yet. It's a transformation that combines demonic, vampire, and Leonardo da Vinci traits. This four-issue DC Black Label miniseries sees him achieve his new form at the story's conclusion.
